Nelson is a character, and I know he's a good fighter, but boy did this fight do him no favours.
I'm a total Dos Santos mark, and he'll be a complete underdog again Lesnar or Velasquez, but I'll still be all fanboy for the fight.

I don't know what to say about this. It was something else. I was going to say it sucks to be Chael Sonnen, but that boy just made himself a star, and massive fuckhead though he may be, he looked awesome.
Anderson Silva is Anderson Silva, though, and that's Sonnen's problem.
Roy Nelson sure can take a hit, I thought he was getting KO'd in the first, he definitely got tooled by JDS, but you can't help but give it up for the fat man. JDS shows off some great takedown defense, and finally threw some kicks. This takedown defense will do him greatly when he faces either Brock or Cain. Should work on his conditioning abit more since it was evident he was tired midway through the second, but seeing him fight the champ whomever it may be, will be exciting to watch.

his powerbomb to Carlos Newton. I figured he was going to take him down and punch his ears like he did with Royce, but
he showed some power in his hands, weird that its his first real knockdown from a punch and into a basic front facelock. Like
he said, its a basic wrestling move, and with the power that the old country boy posesses, its enough to put someone to sleep.
I did that move to a drunk kid a few months ago and put him to sleep, brought back some hazy memories.
Looked like Guida broke dos Anjos jaw with that headkick in the first round. Not to act like a hindsight know-it-all, but
I thought thats what happened when he was in his corner.
Struve saved his job, even tho he got that fatlip. Herb Dean should've stopped it earlier since the other guy
could've gotten seriously injured with his arm stuck behind his back like that. Kinda funny how that fat bottem lip

WTF!! What was going in that fight with Silva and Sonnen? I was almost thinking Anderson was throwing the fight, he wasn't
doing shit like he did with all his opponents, I almost stopped watching after the third round, I just couldn't believe what was going on, it was like Marquardt for four rounds, but atleast Anderson pulled off the triangle and got the tapout. Fuck that was some crazy shit. Usually I don't go for injury excuses, but its hard for me to not believe it with a bad performance like that.
Anderson should punched out Steven Seagal for jinxing him like that. Still found it funny that Sonnens pillow shots for 4.5 rounds didn't do half the damage five strikes from Anderson did.

Sucks to see Silva win, as I really hate that guy and Sonnen owned him the entire fight. Oh well I heard the interviews afterwards were pretty classy and that Silva was fighting hurt, which might explain a lot. I don't know about the rest of you, but i'd like to see a rematch.
mind you I was mad hammered, so who knows what i'm thinking.
I think Silva will be better in a rematch. I think he'll have a better gameplan and won't have an injury like he claimed he had in this fight. I think he did have the injury, but people are denying it.
Ed Sorres was bragging before the fight about how Anderson was 100% and how after the fight Chael would be making excuses about injuries and such forth.
Fuck Ed Sore ass!! Hope Vitor tells him to stfu again, and go one step further and break his jaw so everyone doesn't have to hear him translate for every Brazilian.
